A good year.

2010 was a monumental year. We had our ups and our downs and we were blessed to have baby Piper, the most wonderful gift we could ever receive.  Here’s a recap of all of our adventures:

January:

Big and pregnant, I made Valentines for all of my loves. We also enjoyed 80 degree weather here in Southern California.

February:

Staci Jo came out for a visit. We waited patiently (and not so patiently) for Peanut’s arrival and she finally decided to join us on February 25^th. Our lives and hearts changed forever.

March:

We stayed home and cuddled with Little Miss Piper.

April:

An earthquake hit on Easter and Jenny, ‘One and Hendrix came out to meet Piper.

May:

Jared and I celebrated four years of wedded bliss and Piper took her first road trip when we made the beautiful drive through Big Sur to Monterey. Piper was blessed and I celebrated my first Mother’s Day.

June:

Piper took her first airplane ride to get acquainted with her Utah roots and Jared celebrated his first Father’s Day.

July:

We celebrated our independence, Piper turned five months old and had her first taste of rice cereal and we went back to Utah to watch my sister Marcie get hitched.

August:

I had a hard time turning 28 and Staci Jo came out for another visit.

September:

We totally rearranged our apartment and spent some time at the beach.

October:

Jenny, ‘One and Hendrix came out for another fun visit and we went back to Utah to celebrate Hendrix’s birthday. Piper enjoyed her first Halloween dressed up as a Zebra.

November:

Jared turned 36 and we celebrated with a day at the park. We had a beautiful Thanksgiving here in Southern California.

December:

I got stuck in a bit of a rut, but recovered in time to enjoy a snowy Christmas in Utah.
