Can you believe it? Piper Bear is five months old today. It doesn’t seem like she’s been with us for five whole months, yet her piece in our family puzzle fits so perfectly that I can hardly remember what our life was like without her.
At five months, Piper’s personality is really starting to shine. She loves it when we kiss her belly, right below her last little rib. She loves taking walks to the swimming pool to watch all of the big kids splashing around. Her favorite song is Rascal Flatts, Praying for Daylight – when she’s fussy, this song will get her to stop crying in an instant. She likes to nibble on her own toes. She scratches at everything (including my face) with her tiny little fingers. She squeals when she is happy. She stiffens up and screams when she’s mad. She is our little Pip Squeak and we love her so very much.

I can't believe it's been five months already too. She is seriously adorable. Next time your in town I would love to meet her in person.
