Piper Bear turned 10 months old on Christmas Day and her personality is really starting to shine. After spending some time with her cousins over Christmas, I discovered that she is a lot tougher than I thought. She took all of Hendrix and Claire’s rough housing in stride and even tackled the big kids herself a few times. Piper is becoming very independent and does not want me to spoon feed her, so we’ve been trying out more finger foods. She even figured out how to suck water through a straw this week – she likes to get her mouth really full and spit all of the water out all over herself. Fun games.
Other things Piper likes to do at 10 months:
Clap
Wave
Shake her head
Escape from things
Crawl under things and into small spaces
Sing itsy bitsy spider
Throw fits
We had a major bout of Piper sleeping horribly at night, but we seem to have found a solution to that problem. Sadly, now that she’s sleeping well at night again, she basically refuses to take a good nap. I don’t think I’m ever going to figure it out… Good thing I really love the little stinker.

She is getting so big and so adorable still!
I was wondering if you edited the pics on the top of your blog in the header? Is it a certain type or called soemthing? They look somewhat vitage. I like it!
Jamie, Piper is a doll. I can't believe she is 10 months old. She took Claire and Hennie like a champ while she was here. What a tough little one!
She is honestly so stinking cute. I love the leopard outfit:) she is one sweet, tough cookie. Can't believe she is almost one!
Great pictures!!!
Let the fun begin. Once she starts walking you are in trouble. Love the pics.
