It was fuhreezing this morning – like in the 20 degree range. I had to break down and dig out my North Face coat - my refuge, my love in the winter months. This is the hardest season for me to transition to. It is dark as night every day when I get off work. This means I see about 10 minutes of sunlight a day. Tops. It’s depressing. Sometimes I think I should be a hibernating creature. Honestly though, I have a lot to look forward to right now. Even with the cold nipping at my nose. The holidays bring a special spirit and I look forward to sharing that with my family and friends. I also look forward to snuggling up with my baby by a warm fire and drinking some hot wassail. A few pretty snowstorms would be nice too. I’m really hoping for a white Christmas in Utah. Just like last year. Maybe I’ll write a letter to Santa about that.
