Jared’s birthday was smashing. On Friday, we had dinner at Rasika, an Indian restaurant in DC. The crispy spinach there was so so good. Then we got real crazy and went to see the 11:30pm showing of James Bond. Unfortunately, the late hour resulted in me and Aaron falling asleep halfway through the show. The birthday boy stuck with it, though, and enjoyed every action packed minute.
After the festivities, Jared decided to really ring in his birthday by throwing his smack down and getting beat up at a rugby game on Saturday. He came home with bruised knees and a bloody ear. I think James Bond would be proud. Now it’s back to reality. Oh why does the weekend have to be so quick? I must say, the nine to five isn’t nearly as exciting as living vicariously through 007.
