Myrtle Beach wrap-up.

Yes, we skipped out on the inauguration. It was a historical day, but we just couldn’t face the “sea of humanity” on the National Mall. Luckily, we accidentally stumbled on a historical event of our own. We witnessed snow falling in South Carolina for the first time in 25 years. What luck! Our last day of golfing didn’t happen because of the snow, but that’s ok, we still had a fabulous time. We golfed 18 holes two days in a row and thoroughly enjoyed our ocean view condo. I especially loved the huge jetted bath tub. Up until the snow, the weather was pretty good - much warmer than the freezing temperatures in Washington DC. I’m so happy that we were able to get away. Watching inauguration on TV was the way to go (no crowds, no cold and close up views).

Looks like a great time! I couldn't believe all the people in DC. You were smart to get out of dodge!
