The abominable snowman.

I guess that Jared and I aren’t the only ones who think that DC dwellers overreact when it comes to the weather. Here’s what President Obama had to say in response to DC schools shutting down for two days after less than an inch of snow fell: “We’re going to have to apply some flinty Chicago toughness to this town. I’m saying that when it comes to the weather, folks in Washington don’t seem to be able to handle things.” I couldn’t agree more. But, I would never go so far as to mention it to any of the higher-ups at my office. You see, I’ll take a snow day any time I can get one. I don’t care if it snows a millimeter or a foot. If I get the day off work I will play along. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any days off this go round. We did have the pleasure of fishtailing on the bus and squeezing onto the extra crowded metro full of frightened folks in snowsuits, though. Oh, the excitement never ends.

You should take pictures of the frightened folks in snowsuits. It would probably make all of your blog readers laugh
