Piper turned the ripe old age of 15 months today. Measuring in at a whopping 19.5 pounds (7th percentile), and 31 inches long (75th percentile), our baby girl is what I like to call a bean sprout. Don’t let her slim stature fool you; Piper can hold her own. Just today, she knocked over a boy who was trying to attack her with some curtains at merry music makers. He was twice her size and she wasn’t about to be bullied. You go, girl.

Other things of note:
- “Amen” is Piper’s favorite word to say these days. She must really be feeling the spirit.
- Now that she’s been walking for a bit, Piper’s favorite activity is chasing birds. She also likes to spin around and around all by herself.
- Piper’s favorite food is broccoli with vinegar (a girl after her mamma’s heart). She also likes to snack on hunks of cheese.
- Piper has kicked Elmo to the curb and is now in love with Mickey Mouse. Oh Toodles!
- There’s still almost no hair atop Piper’s head. She is growing a pretty sweet mullet, however.
- Piper has five teeth totally grown in, and at least four more poking through (three of those four are molars).
- Nothing gets Piper more excited than seeing her poppa walk in the door after work. She squeals like a crazy baby, then gives him lots of hugs and loves.
What a sweet little gal we have. She is the best thing that ever happened to us.
