Piper is a very cautious baby. She wants to make sure she knows what's up before trying anything too crazy. For a few months now she has been walking up a storm, but she always had to be holding one of our fingers for support (mostly moral, I think). A few days ago, she suddenly decided to try it out on her own. It came totally out of the blue. It is so cute to watch her marching around, with her little booty shaking and arms in the air for balance. Here's a video of a few of her first steps. Sorry for the rookie quality (we only had the iPhone handy). Happy walking.
