As promised, here’s a collage from our little trip to Virginia Beach. While I was relaxing on the sand, a ladybug landed on my ear. I think it wanted some company because it kept coming back to play on my big green beach towel. Our beach neighbor’s dog was also interested in hanging out with me. He kept sitting right on my feet. When I would move away, he would scoot closer. That poor dog must have thought I had some beef jerky hiding in my beach bag. All in all, we had a perfect weekend in the sunshine.Monday is here and it’s still hot hot hot in DC. My car thermometer said it was 97 degrees out today. For some insane reason, the office building I work in still has the heat on. Let me tell you, it was sweltering in my cubicle. I was sweating like a mad woman all day. Sick.

How fun, wish I could have gone to the beach. Where are the jumping photos?
My office was about 97 degrees today too. We lock it up at night and the heat just pours in. Luckily there is a window we can open!
