Sound of silence.

I don’t have much to say. Today was a typical Tuesday – work, work, work. Not much fun. My muscles are so sore from our new P90X routine. I am seriously feeling the burn. I suppose it’s a good thing. That means I’m getting rid of the gristle. Sick.
Jared is waiting up for the Jazz to come on TV. I will be going to bed long before that happens. Don’t tell Jared, but I purposely try to hog the bed when he stays up later than me. I think it’s a funny joke to play. I can’t tell you why I get a kick out of making Jared fight for his spot in bed. I just do.
Now that I have bored you with my innermost secrets, I think I will have a brainstorm. Or a brain fart. We’ll see. I’ve been thinking of fun things to do on a budget. Here are my ideas:
build a fort and read stories inside.
buy a kite from the dollar store, go to the park and fly it.
write encouraging notes and leave them around for unsuspecting recipients.
take a walk in the city.
rent a movie from redbox, pop some popcorn and fall asleep before the movie is over.
plant a potted herb garden (grocery store herbs are pricey, growing them at home is fun and economical).
write a story then read it to your friends or lover.
That’s all I can think of at this hour on a Tuesday. What do you do for fun when you are pinching pennies?

Check out books and videos from the library. Your tax dollars are paying for it so you might as well use it.

You could plan a piknic if the weather permits. We should do that when I am in DC! I can't wait. There are tons of things for you two to do in the big city!!!
