Signs of spring.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect yesterday. I stared out the tiny window at my office and dreamed of escaping. It should be illegal to be stuck in a cube on a day like yesterday. I broke down a little after lunch and snuck to my car for a little siesta in the sunshine. Don’t judge. I really needed that sunshine.
I made Jared take me on a walk after work and we were delighted to see the first signs of spring popping up in our neighborhood. Bulbs are blooming, buds are breaking and children are swarming on the local playground like tiny ants on an ant hill. After our walk, we decided to go to get the best fish and chips in town at the Dubliner Irish Pub. We like to say it was a belated St. Patty’s day celebration. Yesterday was pretty close to perfect. It made me happy.
