Welcome, welcome.

October floated by like puffy marshmallow clouds on a breezy afternoon, and November has settled in to take its place. October was fairly eventful, with a quick trip to Utah for Hendrix's birthday party, a lot of rain here in SoCal and a spooky Halloween. Most noteworthy - Piper stopped sleeping through the night in October. I think her two bottom teeth must have been keeping her up. Last night was the first night in about three weeks that she slept a good nine hours straight. It was heavenly. Let me tell you, Mamma needs her sleep. And whether she likes it or not, so does Piper.

I look forward to a great November. I always like a new month. It's nice to have a fresh start. Plus, November is the month for thanksgiving. I have much to be thankful for, indeed. Today, I am especially thankful for my family. My family loves me, watches over me, makes me laugh, and lifts me up when I’m down. I am thankful to know that I get to be with them forever. You hear that, people? For better or worse, you are stuck with me!
