Rainy weekend ramblings.

It rained here all weekend. And it felt really really cold. We made the best of it, though.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries surprised us by opening a location in Huntington Beach. I haven’t been there in about a year and a half, so we just had to go. We braved the soggy weather and made it there for a little cheeseburger. Only problem: we smelled like grease and rain after. I told Jared there’s nothing worse than smelling like grease and rain, especially in a warm, humid car. He said he could think of a few things worse. My husband is a smart A.
We also ran out of filtered water from the machine at the grocery store this weekend, so we pulled out the Brita. I don’t think it was working because our water still tasted like chlorine. So, Jared and Piper went to the vending machine at our pool last night to purchase some bottled water to hold us over. Piper had to wear her winter hat because it was so cold. It didn’t make her very happy until she went outside. She just looks so cute in her hat; I’d like her to wear it all of the time.

Happy cold, wet and snowy (if you are in Utah) Monday before Thanksgiving to you!

60+ degrees can't really be classified as "cold"....
