Cloud nine.

Little Piper Bear turned nine months last week. That means she’s been out of the womb longer than she was in. Wow. Time has flown by. I guess we are just having too much fun.

Piper is learning new tricks every day. She’s still mastering the art of crawling. Right now she’s doing what I call a triple combination, where she rolls, army crawls and regular crawls until she has reached her destination. It’s so funny to see how hard she works to get into trouble! Yesterday, Piper started pulling herself up in the crib, on our couches and the book shelf. I am scared! We really need to make some safety adjustments around this place.

Our little gal also loves to smooch (hopefully she won't love it so much in 13 years). She has started giving us big slobbery kisses when we ask for one. She has also developed a feisty attitude. Don’t even think about taking her away from whatever troublesome situation she’s gotten herself into. She will flip a lid. I think she must have inherited her attitude from all of her crazy aunties.

I have so much love in my heart for Piper. She challenges me, humbles me and brings me more happiness than I thought a baby ever could. I am glad I get to be her mom.

Piper is so cute. I think she gets her feistiness from all the aunties except me! Haha Hopefully she doesn't inherit my love for smooching... Remember when I was a 13 year old girl..... SCARY!
