I love spending time at the US Botanic Garden in DC. I could pretty much hang out there all day. It’s nice to make a visit in the middle of winter, because at the Botanic Garden it’s always spring. The air inside the greenhouse smells like a warm, rainy day. So refreshing. So revitalizing. The first time Jared and I went to the Botanic Garden we saw a praying mantis attack and gobble up an innocent bumble bee. It was our own personal Discovery Channel right in the middle of the big city. I will never forget it. I like to take my camera every time I go and snap a million pictures. I just can’t resist. I’ve got quite the collection of flower photos these days, so I thought I’d make a collage of my favorite pink ones. We can all use a little piece of spring in the middle of winter, right?

Tickled pink.

Awesome pictures....tell me how to do this collage thingy!! I want to know how to do it. Please...
Terry- do you have Picasa on your computer? If not, you should download it. It's a free program from Google. It organizes your pics and lets you edit them, make collages etc... I love it. If you have Picasa already, let me know and I can tell you how to do the collages on it.
The gardens are beautiful, and I love your pictures! I might use some of them for the babies room.
Jamie- you still need to send me a picture to paint for you! Nothing to crazy though!
