I don’t take the train to work anymore since my new office isn’t near a metro stop. I now have the pleasure of cruisin’ the streets in my beautiful Corolla. It’s not a drop top, but it will do. It’s quite fun jamming to my tunes out loud and singing along when I feel like it. The traffic to and from work is hit or miss. I think I would be ok if I could leave a little before five. Today I left after five and I got stuck in a jam up. It wasn’t awful, but I wasn’t exactly having the time of my life. I guess it gives me time to let my mind wander.I’ve been getting some fabulous ideas this week during my commute. I am planning an amazing dance party for this summer when I’m in Utah. I don’t want to give up too many details now since it’s still in the working stages. Let's just say this: it’s going to be epic. I also can’t stop thinking about my sister Traci and her big eight month prego belly. Next month I get to go home and meet her new little girl. I am bubbling with anticipation. If her new babe is anywhere near as cute as her boy Wes (see my favorite picture of him up top), she might have to enter into a most adorable family contest. So, all in all, my commute isn’t too bad. It’s pretty nice having time to brainstorm and daydream, all while rocking to my music turned up, and out loud.

I am very excited for the epic dance party, especially since I won't have this huge belly to contend with!
I love that picture of Wes. He is so little, and Staci Jo looks so young standing in the background.
Is the party at my house? If it is going to be epic it should be outside with your dad's speakers cranked up.
