I slept in this morning – until 7:30am and it felt good. My hair looks horrible though. If bed head is the price I have to pay for an extra hour of sleep, so be it. Yesterday was a marathon meeting day for work. Good thing that’s over. Meetings make me yawn - especially seven hour meetings. Yawning around a conference table doesn’t make a very good impression. Trust me, my old supervisor told me so. I thought long and hard about mixing up a zip fizz in my water bottle right in the middle of hearing about all of those power point slides. I figured that might be worse than yawning, though. People would surely think I was a weirdo. Instead, I camouflaged my problem by yawning with my mouth closed. Now, that takes talent.
I’m pretty much in the clear now. Just have to wrap things up in preparation for our trip home. Jared, on the other hand has to take two more finals. Still. Boo for finals. Study hard, Jared. You are on the home stretch, the last leg of that 400 meter dash. It’s painful, I know, but the glory is so worth it.

You should have made the zip fizz. You probably should have brought some to share with the group. What the heck did they have to say that took 7 hours??
you are bold and brave. i would have fallen asleep. you should invest in some of those glasses with the eyeballs painted on the lens so it LOOKS like you're awake.
