It is a beautiful 80 degrees here today. The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and it smells like grass. After all the rain we’ve had, I am welcoming the warm sunshine with wide open arms.
It was so nice out yesterday; I couldn’t resist taking Piper down to the beach. She went crazy chasing down the waves and splashing her tiny feet in the ocean. I went crazy trying to keep her from eating handfuls of sand. We had a ball. I wish Jared could have been there to enjoy it with us. I ache for him, being stuck in an office building all day every day, especially when it’s so nice out. It just isn’t fair. I guess you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do to survive in this expensive world. At least he has some freedom on Saturday and Sunday, right?
Speaking of, I can’t wait for the weekend to begin. I think we are going to head down to San Diego tomorrow for some burgers and furniture shopping. We are moving into a new place in a few weeks and we are thinking of buying a new couch. We are beyond excited! We have upgraded to a townhouse, people! That’s right, we are living the dream.
