Gas and a few other things.

  1. We are more or less moved into our new place (we still have a bunch of boxes to unpack). What a pain that was. Adding a baby to the mix makes moving a million times harder. Thinking about it is causing my head to hurt. On the positive – we love our new place. I will post some pictures once we get it all put together.
  2. Traci and her family are back in Utah. I miss them already. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there’s nothing like sisterly bonding time. Bonus A) Piper was in LOVE with Traci’s creatures, Wes and Claire. Bonus B) Traci and James were a HUGE help with the move. I don’t know what we would have done without them. I feel like we ruined their spring break, though. I’ll have to find a way to make it up to them.
  3. Anybody else sick over gas prices? It cost me $46.39 to put just more than 10 gallons of gas in my car (see the picture above for proof). Not cool. The other day, Jared told me that he would rather piss out marbles than fill his truck up with gas. I’ve never pissed marbles, but I imagine it’s pretty painful. Kind of like spending $4.25 for a gallon of gas. Uggh.
  4. It was 90 degrees here on Saturday. What the freak? I liked it, but I’m pretty sure Piper was annoyed. I tried taking her on a bike ride and she threw a major fit. I don’t think she likes having a sweaty head under her helmet.
  5. My sister Jenny Boo and her little man Hendrix are coming for a visit in a week plus a day. I can’t wait to see them. Hendrix is such a crazy little creature. Piper will have a ball learning all of his tricks. I just love my sisters and their creatures. And I love that they all come to visit me. Yay for sisters.
Happy Monday. Now, let’s all do a low gas price dance this week, before I go broke.
