Just stuff.

The sun has finally decided to come out. To celebrate, Piper and I hung out at the pool yesterday and I let her splash her feet in the water. She loved it. I need to get her some swim diapers so she can put more than just her feet in the pool. I also need to get her a new hat. Her little egg head is too big for all of the hats I have for her. She was not happy when I tried to squeeze one on her yesterday.

Piper, Jared and I had a dance party the other night. We turned the radio on and boogied down. I have to tell you, I was shocked by all of the vulgar music! Seriously, what kind of a merv is Rihanna? Anyhow, Piper and I were dancing our hearts out to some beat bumpin’ Macy Grey when suddenly little Pip rested her head on my chest and fell fast asleep. Why can’t it be that easy in the middle of the night?

Speaking of sleeping, the other night I had a dream that Gene Simmons (you know, the guy from KISS) hired me to be his bass player. How rad is that? Too bad I can’t play the bass. And too bad I woke up before I got to play my first big KISS show.

One more thing before I go…never challenge Jared to beat your high score in Tetris. He will. And you will never hold the high score title again. And you will never hear the end of it. Jared is pretty pleased with his Tetris skills and keeps me up all hours into the night talking about his techniques. These are the things we discuss at day’s end. It’s sad. So very very sad.
