You can't rain on our parade.

Yesterday as Jared and I were returning home from Stake Conference we ran into a freaky guy in our parking garage. This man had his dockers pulled all the way down to his hairy, knobby knees. His tiny grey underwear (seriously, I think they were girl underwear) greeted us by peeking out from under his polo shirt. At first, Jared thought he was nude, but luckily he did have some coverage. We don’t know what he was doing, but we’re pretty sure he shouldn’t have been doing it in a crowded parking garage. I couldn’t stop laughing as he turned his head and realized that we could see him – he completely froze, not knowing whether to pull em’ up or attempt to hide behind his broken looking Honda. We quickly jumped on the elevator; up up up to the safety of our apartment. We could only wonder why the Sunday spirit had to be ruined by this strange man in his grey panties.
This weekend we also went to a crusty Mexican restaurant. We were fully entertained by two old folks sitting right next to us, repeatedly telling each other to order the Faji-t-a-s. They also had some trouble with their “very spicy” salsa. They were coughing up those jalapenos like no other. I was glad that Jared was there in case of an emergency with the nice old folks. He always knows just how to act in an emergency situation.
The rain on Saturday didn’t damper our weekend festivities. We saw a giant squid at the Natural History museum, went bowling, and watched the Hulk. We also had some tasty clam chowder and had dinner and carrot juice with some friends on Sunday. I can’t believe Monday is already here. Let’s hope that today, our wildest Monday dreams come true.
