We sent Staci Jo and Nick back to SLC on Saturday morning. It was a fantastic week and I’m sad it’s already over. The saying is really true - time flies when you’re having fun. Some of the highlights of our week included: taking night photos and doing rock star jumps at some of the DC monuments, eating delish
turkey lasagna, looking at skeletons that used to be buried at Jamestown, spending too much money at Tyson’s Corner, going on a cheesy and spooky ghost tour in Old Town, eating at Olives, walking around Georgetown at night and eating pretzels and ice cream in Philadelphia. Oh yeah, there was also a race up the “Rocky Stairs” – Jared won, Davin came in second, Nick in third, Jo in fourth. I did not race because I was the photographer. But I can assure you, I would have been first to the top had I participated. Now it’s back to the grind. Monday has greeted us with frrreeezzzing morning temps - a bittersweet reminder that winter is on its way. The sweet fingerless gloves Jo and I bought on our trip to the mall will be put to good use this winter. I should wear them while at work just to add some bedazzle to my work wardrobe. I can just picture myself typing away with them on…my hands will get so hot!
