Don't get me wrong. Things are not perfect here in Orange County. I could give you a list of my least favorite things about living here, but what fun would that be? Today I am feeling positive, and I thought I'd share some of the things I love about living in the land of milk and honey. Here we go...
10. We are just a hop, skip and jump away from Disneyland. The happiest place on earth, people!
9. We are also just a hop, skip and jump away from the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. We love wild animals!
8. Sprinkles Cupcakes. Need I say more?
7. I can grow my own Meyer lemon tree in a pot on my front porch.
6. We have the BEST parks in our neck of the woods. You know what that means...endless entertainment for Pip Squeak.
5. California babies are the cutest! Just look at those shades.
4. Palm trees. There's something about a prickly palm tree that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
3. Local, fresh produce all year round. I just picked up these berries and artichokes from the farmers market this morning.
2. The beaches. We live minutes away from some amazing beaches. The ocean is just magical.
1. Last but not least...the weather. This photo of Piper was taken a few days ago. It was 85 degrees outside and she just couldn't bear the heat, so she stripped down to her diaper. No hat, not jacket, no problem. all.year.long.

I like that the mountains are so close.
I'm glad you are having a happy day. I think I would miss the 4 seasons if I lived in CA. We got the garden tilled up yesterday. It looks so beautiful. Springtime is the best!
I second Debbie on that. I would also miss all my family. You are the only thing missing!!
You THINK you'd miss the 4 seasons, but trust me -- you absolutely don't!
