I’m 33 weeks and feeling the burn! This pregnancy has been quite a bit more uncomfortable than the first. I think little nugget might be a good sized baby. Here’s what life is like at 33 weeks.
How I’m Feeling: As you may or may not know, I had an insanely itchy rash on my belly. Doc said it was a pregnancy rash, and there was not much I could do about it. I asked him about Grandpa’s Pine Tar soap, since I’d read online that it helps. He hadn’t heard of it, so he couldn’t make a recommendation either way. I decided to give it a shot and a week and a half later my rash was gone! All I can say is thank you Grandpa, from the bottom of my heart. Other than itching, I’m just feeling a bit tired and achy. You know, typical prego stuff.
What I’m Craving: Nothing, really. I do feel really thirsty, so I down lots of water and fruit. Sadly, I’ve been feeling nauseous here and there, so food hasn’t been as enjoyable as usual.
What’s Keeping Me Up at Night: Just your typical aches and pains. I’ve also been getting really nervous about being a mother of two, so naturally I think about it when I’m up alone in the middle of the night. I hope I can pull this off.
How I’m Growing: I feel pretty huge right now. My belly doesn’t necessarily seem to be growing at a lightning speed, but it is PLENTY big, so I hope it stays slow and steady. I don’t look forward to those last few weeks when nothing fits and I have to resign myself to wearing Jared’s basketball shorts. That time will be here before I know it.
Well, that’s it for now. Have a fabulous weekend, and sleep 8 hours for me!
