Piper took a walk with her poppa last week and she decided to park her fanny in the middle of the sidewalk for a rest. I'm glad Jared took a picture. It makes me smile to see Piper in her mismatched pajamas and saltwater sandals, just enjoying the sunshine out on the sidewalk.
Thankfully I had something to make me smile last week. It was a bit of a rough time. I’m glad it’s over. I was feeling a bit defeated and homesick (Utah sick). This week seems to be going better and next week I get to go see all of my peeps in my home state. So before the end of August, I should be feeling pretty good. The sidewalk is warm with sunshine and things are perking up! Phew.
