Jared and I just wasted 3.5 hours of our lives at the DMV. We waited in lots of lines, Jared had to take the written motorcycle test three times and I was accused of cheating on my written test. I was standing in the cubby next to Jared and the DMV patrol woman thought it was a little too close for comfort, so she confiscated my almost finished test and made me start over. I am not quite sure why she only took mine; Jared could have cheated just as easily. I think she was discriminating on me. Just so you all know – I was NOT cheating. It wouldn’t have done me any good anyhow because Jared didn’t know any more than I did. Phooie. All is well in the end – we got a good laugh at the wacky DMV lady and we will both be receiving our California licenses in the mail in 3 to 6 weeks.
Anyhow, I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Jared is recovering from a horrible sinus infection. I hope he gets feeling better so we can have a big party before his first day on the job. Maybe we will spend some time at the beach. Just FYI - my favorite beach so far is Crystal Cove (pictured above). I love that we are just a hop, jump and a skip away from those beautiful rolling waves.Have a grand weekend,

I dont know Jamie, remember the time you were copying my paper in health class and you even wrote MY name at the top of your paper. Then you got a freaking A and I got a C. Good old high school!!
