Summer weather has finally made an appearance. With all of the rain we’ve had, everything is green and lush. Talk about beautiful scenery. I don’t think I ever fully appreciated the beauty of the mountains until I left Utah for three years and came back. It is truly breathtaking to see the mountains towering over everything else.
Jared and I decided to take advantage of our close proximity to the mountains and have a picnic in the canyon today. We drove up to a little lake and set up shop. I fixed a green salad, cucumbers and vinegar, cheese and crackers and a black bean salad. What a delicious day!

Where is this at??? We should do a picnic tomorrow! At least go up in the mountains and go for a walk or something
