Guns are scary. Jared once took me to the shooting range to teach me how to use one. The kickback and the intensely loud bang freaked me out. I didn’t expect it to be so powerful. After learning safety guidelines and practicing a bit, it wasn’t so bad. I guess I confronted the fear and replaced it with knowledge and confidence. I think that’s how we become strong people – by facing fear and overcoming it.
Elanor Roosevelt said, “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop and look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”
That’s my new goal. I want to be confident enough to face my fears and just DO. Live life to its fullest. Kickback, noise and all.

I think that sounds like a great philosophy. You look so tine compared to that big gun!
Good one Jamie! I think you will be successful.
