The hustle and bustle has been intense (fun too) this week. I thought that things would slow down when I quit my job, but I guess I can only rest for so long. We have family in town for graduation and are getting ready for the big move back out west. It is sad to leave this city and the life we built here. I will miss our apartment, our friends, the museums, the food, and the gardens. Leaving here feels bittersweet. In order to move forward, I suppose we have to leave some of the things we love behind. I will always have fond memories of our time in DC and am looking forward to creating more great memories wherever the wind takes us.
