This spring.

Oh April showers, how we look forward to your arrival! I know what you are thinking… winter hasn’t even really begun and you fools are already looking ahead into spring? I must tell you, we have a good excuse. You see, come April, another sweet little nugget will be joining our family. We are over the moon!

I have been sick as a dog throwing up since Labor Day, but I know the pain and suffering will soon be worth it. Piper will have the gift of a sibling to love unconditionally (and I’m sure bicker with plenty) and we will have the gift of another perfectly sweet spirit in our home.

On November 29th, we’ll find out the gender. I’m thinking pink, Jared is thinking blue. I’ll let you know as soon as we hear the verdict. Until then, enjoy a cute photo of one-week-old Piper, our first bundle of joy!
