Did you watch American Idol last night? I’m not sure why I keep tuning in. I guess I always hope it’s going to better than it really is. I mean seriously, what’s up with all of the lights, lasers and crazy camera work? Between that, Randy Jackson’s neon white teeth and some of the horrible singing, I am lucky I didn’t have some sort of a seizure. The guy singing Rod Stewart did a great impersonation, but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t English coming out of his mouth. And I’m also pretty sure he wasn’t all the way with the program (if you know what I mean). Luckily, the last guy saved the show. He is really good, and funny to boot. The country guy also has a great voice, but Jared pointed out to me that he looks like a young George W. Bush and now I can’t get it out of my head. Sheesh. Sorry for the American Idol rant. I think I may have hit a new low. What has my life come to? Blogging about American Idol, while my baby naps. Now that’s sad.
Happy hump day, people. Let’s hope something more exciting than American Idol comes our way today.

I thought the guy attempting to sing Usher was by far the funniest and worst! He was FREAKING TERRIBLE. And come on, don't try to dance like Usher! No one can compare!
I am sorry to say that I missed American Idol last night. I didn't know it was on to be honest!! Hopefully it will be better tonight!
Hmmm...and here I was thinking they have some amazing talent this year, especially compared to some years past. Although, I admit, I didn't see the first half, I thought the last few guys were really really good. And I love Steven Tyler..LOL. K..I'm done.
You are so right though now that I thin about it. I was tuning in that good because I was sewing while I watched it. But I can see your point on all of those. I think the first couple of episodes are always rough because everyone is nervous and trying so hard!
A massive time wasted for sure.
