Progress, sort of.

I accomplished a bunch yesterday. It felt pretty good to check a few things off the old to do list. I finally finished binding the quilt I started this summer, I framed Jared’s diplomas, I organized our desk and I unpacked the last three boxes from our move (I know…took long enough). Oh yeah, I even put up some Halloween decorations. I am such a freaky housewife! What is going on?

Even with all of my hard work, I feel like there’s so much to be done. Our apartment is whiter than white (the walls are white, the carpet is white the kitchen cabinets, countertop and appliances are white and our couches are very light tan). I am desperately seeking a little color to add some life to the place. Painting the walls is out of the question and we can’t go buy all new furniture. I don’t know what I’m going to do. One more thing… my hair is in need of a serious intervention. I am looking wildly scraggly and my roots have grown out about an inch. I guess I am a disheveled housewife more than a freaky housewife. Now that’s really sad.

I'll take baby steps for now.
