Happy Columbus Day. Happy Monday. Poor Jared has to work today. DC spoiled us by giving us the day off on all Federal Holidays. Not so in SoCal. Even without the extra day off, our weekend was a good one. Time was spent at the pool, delicious grilled artichokes were gobbled up and tangy lemon cupcakes were devoured. Mmmmm. My life seems to revolve around food and sunshine.In honor of Columbus Day today, maybe I will do some exploring. Hopefully I will discover something good, something to write in my history books.
