It’s a little cooler in Southern California this week, but I must say I am mourning the lack of trees full of yellow, orange and red leaves. There’s just something about fall in the land of Utah, where you find yourself wanting to sip on some warm cocoa, all cuddled up in a cozy sweater on October mornings. The beach and beautiful sunshine make doing that here seem a little ridiculous. I figure I will just have to make the best of it. Really, I am lucky. Walking on the beach every morning is magical. It makes me giddy to see the seals and dolphins splashing around in the surf.Anyhow, to make up for my small amount of sadness over the absence of fall, I may just have to deck out our apartment in some autumn décor. All of the fall goodies on the Paper Source website are pretty inspiring. I am having a little owl obsession lately, so I was pleased to find the cute little guys above are sold in an easy to assemble kit. I’m assuming that even an awful crafter like me can figure it out.
Now I will go enjoy the beautiful sunshine and stop coveting the cool fall. I am sure I will be thanking my lucky stars when my friends in Utah and DC are buried in ice and snow all winter.

Those Owls are adorable. Did you get the kit?
You needed to say trees full of yellow, orange and red leaves covered with snow. Alta has 18 inches.
I love the owls those are so cute. Maybe I will get that kit for my house!
