It’s Sunday night and I’m starting to get butterflies. Not the good kind, but the kind you get when the weekend is over and another long week is staring you in the face. You know how I feel about Mondays. We had a great weekend (with just a few minor snafus), which makes the looming work week look that much more unappealing.
Here’s how our weekend went down:
- Delicious dinner at the Beach Pit BBQ – fried pickles, anyone?
- A nice bike ride around the bay – Piper loves her iBert!
- Bean dip, stuffed mushrooms, veggies ‘n dip, soda and fun friends for the super bowl – can we have a better half-time show next year please?
I hope the week ahead is a good one. I hope Jared will get home from work at a reasonable hour (at least a few nights this week). I hope Piper doesn’t get sick of me. I hope I get my Valentines finished and in the mail.
Here goes nothing.

Haha, I can't stop cracking up about these pictures. Piper first looks so miserable in her helmet and then in the second picture so happy to be on the bike.
