Well, we made it to our new home all safe and sound. The internet is hooked up, we are almost all the way moved into our apartment and I finally made dinner in our new kitchen. It feels so good. Our place is pretty fantastic. We are close to the beach, have a nice swimming pool and two whole bedrooms. It’s pretty much 963 square feet of pure bliss. My only complaint – the water smells a little funny here. Jared can’t smell it, so maybe I am just imagining things.
Six other things to note about our new quarters:
1) There are three little rabbits who hang out on the lawn outside our apartment – ahh our first California friends.
2) I’ve seen a bunch of lizards running around on the sidewalks and it’s a little creepy.
3) I can barely swim across our swimming pool without nearly cramping up.
4) The grocery store closest to us doesn’t have kosher salt and I’m upset.
5) There are a lot of cougars around here (not the animal variety).
6) The sunshine is making me pretty happy.
All for now. I will get some photos up soon. I’ve been too distracted to carry my camera around.

Sounds like a wonderful place! Enjoy the sunshine and the beach. Don't worry about the lizards...lizards eat the bugs....they are your friends!
