(Pike Market in Seattle)This morning Jared asked me if I was trying to get nominated for the TV show What Not to Wear. Whaaat? Well, I admit that my outfit today is not quite working according to plan. I accidentally paired a grey plaid shirt with much more subtle grey plaid pants. Isn’t monochromatic in? I didn’t notice that it looked funny until I stepped outside. Sunlight brings a whole new perspective! Oops. I don’t think my co-workers will mind (too much).
I’m so glad Friday is here. My powder-blue cubicle is feeling bleaker by the second. I look forward to going to the farmers market this weekend. I want to stock up on some apples; they are so good this time of year.
My weekend list:
get apples and other goodies from farmers market
make apple crisp
go for a bike ride along the Potomac
get a sandwich from Jetties with my baby
take a bubble bath
enjoy the fall air
don’t think about work
