We made a bit of a spontaneous trip to Utah last week. Piper, Micah and I flew out there with my littlest sister, Staci Jo, then Jared met up with us at the end of our trip and we drove back to California as a happy family. We had a wonderful time back in the motherland. Here's our trip in photos:
Piper made sure Chip and Dale were strapped in safely for the plane ride. That turbulence can be dangerous for little chipmunks.
We were greeted with a beautiful rainbow upon arrival. Don't my parent's have a killer view?
Micah and his Great Grandma Fae hit it off right away.
I got to spend some quality time with my sisters (Traci and Leslie not pictured).
Hendrix and Piper had a ball being wild together, and Hendrix did a lot of dancing in the rain.
We hung out with these to hot babes - Marcie and Claire.
We bravely made the 12 hour drive home with the children. Thankfully, we made it back to California without any major meltdowns - by us or our kids.
We miss our family already. Hopefully we'll be back soon...
