Merry, merry.

Finally, I am feeling like myself again. This little nugget has really put me through the ringer. I’m crossing my fingers for an easy pregnancy from here on out. Hear that, little buddy? Be good to your momma.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been very good about pulling my camera out and documenting life out here. Thankfully, my phone has helped me along some. Here’s what we’ve been up to this holiday season:
We picked up a Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving and since then Piper has been very interested in helping us decorate and un-decorate our place. She likes to hop on the window sill outside, just to make sure our Christmas lights are working properly. And she absolutely loves tinkering with the lights on the Christmas tree. We decided to skip the ornaments and just do lights on the tree this year, that way I don’t have to worry about Piper really getting into it. Best Christmas decision yet.

We have been taking lots of brisk walks to burn some energy (Piper’s energy, not mine) and I have been spending my down time making sure my nails look extra sassy. Thanks, Sally Hansen.

We hit up Disneyland to see the place all lit up. It was pretty, but I decided that next year I might skip the crowds and just enjoy the little lights on our little Christmas tree.

Next week, we are headed to Utah to enjoy the holidays with family. I look forward to it very much. Next to seeing my peeps, I really look forward to all of the goodies that we will surely consume while there. Now that I can eat, I’m feeling ravenous all of the time. So here’s to a merry Christmas season, and a big round belly (and hopefully not a big fat booty).
